High Desert Second Chance is partnering with Community Health Action Network and California Highway Patrol to provide a Child Car Seat Safety Class on Thursday, Jan. 18. All participants will receive a new car seat for their child.

The child seat safety class is for qualifying children, 12 months old or older, for front-facing car seats. Only one child per parental household. Parent(s) must complete the workshop, and demonstration with a certified onsite CHP technician and the child must be present to complete the demonstration. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Doors close immediately at 11:05 a.m.
