Deputies with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Marijuana Enforcement Team started the new year by serving 49 search warrants at illegal marijuana grows in Adelanto, Hesperia, Helendale, Pinon Hills, Phelan, Victorville, Newberry Springs and El Mirage, among other locations.

The operation resulted in:

  • 30 suspects arrested
  • 19,465 marijuana plants seized
  • 8,408 pounds of processed marijuana seized
  • 19 guns seized
  • 1,583 grams of concentrated marijuana seized
  • 92.5 pounds of Psilocybin mushrooms seized
  • $60,600 in cash seized
  • 185 greenhouses eradicated
  • 12 indoor locations eradicated
  • 2 THC extraction labs eradicated
  • One electrical bypass mitigated
  • One stolen recreational vehicle recovered
  • One live fragmentation hand grenade was destroyed by deputies from the Sheriff’s Arson/Bomb Division.

Well done! Our County will continue to send the message that this illegal activity will not be tolerated in our communities. Property owners who are growing marijuana or are aware their tenants are growing marijuana on their properties in violation of the state law and local ordinances may also be subject to civil or criminal sanctions.
