Learn more about Barstow’s Main Street, and join a field trip to the Barstow museums and Main Street Murals during the Mohahve Historical Society’s two meetings this week. Historian “Barstow Steve” Smith will present an informative talk at 7 p.m. Thursday at 19900 Hwy 18, Apple Valley, followed by the outing on Saturday.
Thursday’s lecture is free and open to the public. Park along the street, which is actually Outer Highway 18 north and the corner of Symeron Road. Walk up the driveway and enter the door at the corner of the house. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
