Congratulations to Dr. Kimberly Cox on her well-deserved retirement after more than 19 years of dedicated service to the Helendale Community Services District!
Dr. Cox began her journey in February 2007 as the District’s first General Manager, helping shape the foundation of the community following its establishment. Throughout her tenure, she played a vital role in the development of the Helendale Community Park and Community Center, and led the creation of an innovative District-operated Recycling Center and Thrift Store—an effort that earned statewide recognition as the California Special Districts’ Association Innovative Project of the Year in 2021.
Her leadership and commitment to public service have extended far beyond the District, serving on numerous agencies, boards, and commissions.
Our Constituent Services Director Samuel Shoup was honored to present Dr. Cox with a resolution, recognizing her outstanding service and contributions.
Thank you, Dr. Cox, for your years of dedication and for making a difference in the lives of so many. Wishing you all the best in your retirement!
