I was deeply honored to serve as the guest speaker during Monday’s Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at the Wrightwood Veterans Memorial.
The overwhelming turnout of local citizens and Veterans, united to pay respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, was truly touching.
I was incredibly moved listening to the choir, joining the wreath-laying ceremony with the local Girl Scouts, meeting local Wrightwood Veterans, and learning more about the park’s Veterans Memorial Bricks and new Suicide Awareness & Remembrance (S.A.R.) Flag.
Thank you to MC Captain Tom Pinard, USN (Ret.), and the Veterans Memorial Team, for including me in today’s very special event.
