Team Cook was delighted to participate in the 2025 City-County Conference in Lake Arrowhead. This annual gathering unites city and county leaders to address critical issues affecting our communities. The event fosters meaningful dialogue among local government officials, offering a platform to share insights and collaborate on solutions to enhance the well-being of our residents.
The conference featured a range of engaging sessions, including “Disaster Response: Lessons Learned through Fire and Ice,” moderated by Assistant Executive Officer Trevor Leja, where panelists like Fire Chief Dan Munsey and Office of Emergency Services Director Crisanta Gonzalez discussed San Bernardino County’s multi-level emergency response strategies.
Another key session, “Prop 36 Implementation and Impacts,” led by Sheriff-Coroner Shannon Dicus, explored California Proposition 36’s effects on sentencing reform, with experts including District Attorney Jason Anderson, Assistant Sheriff Trevis Newport and San Bernardino Chief of Police Darren L. Goodman addressing its influence on the criminal justice system.
Thanks to the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) for organizing this engaging and impactful event.
