San Bernardino County District Attorney Jason Anderson invites the community to join in commemorating the 10th annual National Crime Victims’ Rights Week Memorial, a meaningful occasion to honor and support our neighbors and loved ones impacted by crime.

This year’s High Desert memorial will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at the Victor Valley College Educational Event Center. Resource tables will be available before and after the program to offer comfort and guidance.

Observed from April 6-12, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week has, since 1981, united crime survivors, dedicated victim support workers, justice advocates, and communities in a heartfelt tribute to victims.

The 2025 theme, KINSHIP, places shared humanity at the core of supporting survivors and victims. The theme is about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with them, forging vital connections, and opening pathways to healing, rights, and essential services.
