Other Ways to Celebrate:

  • Organize a neighborhood cleanup! Get your neighbors together and pick up litter in your community.
  • Plant a tree! Trees help clean the air and provide habitat for wildlife.
  • Start a compost pile! Composting food scraps and yard waste reduces landfill waste and creates nutrient-rich soil for your garden.
  • Reduce your consumption! Buy less stuff, reuse what you have, and recycle whenever possible.

Let’s all work together to make the First District a cleaner and more sustainable place to live!
