On Friday, the Sheriff’s Homeless Outreach Proactive Enforcement Team (H.O.P.E.) teamed up with Victorville Police Department to connect unhoused residents with housing, medical and mental health services.

Of the 51 individuals contacted, 29 were provided with referrals to assistance and 13 were provided with direct assistance. Perhaps the best news is that one Veteran and a family of six were placed into bridge housing — ending their homelessness.

If you know of someone in need of services, please contact the H.O.P.E. team at 909-387-0623 or hope@sbcsd.org
