‘Walk a Mile in Their Shoes’ Fundraiser

The Family Assistance Program is hosting a “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” event on Saturday, September 28 to raise awareness about domestic violence. The walk starts at 10 a.m. at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville, followed by a Celebration of Life festival with food, vendors, and activities until 4 PM. Registration is required and includes a meal ticket and a goodie bag. There will also be a car show with a $25 registration fee that includes a meal ticket for two. If you’d like to be a vendor, contact Sylvia Romo at sylvia@familyassist.org for more information. Wear purple to the event to remember victims of domestic violence and consider making a donation or bringing water, snacks or ice
