San Bernardino County Tri-Community residents have a chance to dispose of household hazardous waste safely and responsibly from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, September 28. The collection event will be held at the County Transportation/Flood Yard located at 1450 State Highway 2 in Wrightwood. Accepted items include antifreeze, batteries, electronics, cleaners, medications, paint, and more. However, hazardous materials like asbestos, explosives, and medical waste besides sharps cannot be dropped off.
