Volunteers of the Angeles National Forest are celebrating Smokey Bear’s 80th birthday on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Big Pines Visitor Center. Join Smokey’s firefighting buddies along with arts & crafts, tours, games and birthday cake! The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 24537 Hwy. 2, Wrightwood.
