Easter is hopping its way to the First District, and with it comes a season of renewal, joy, and of course, everyone’s favorite – Easter egg hunts! As your County Supervisor, I want to encourage all our residents, young and old, to get out there and participate in the many egg-cellent events happening across the High Desert.
These egg hunts are more than just a chance to score some candy-filled prizes. They’re a chance to connect with our communities, celebrate the beauty of spring, and create lasting memories for our families.
Egg-straordinary Fun for All Ages
The High Desert boasts a vibrant network of community centers, parks, and organizations that host fantastic Easter egg hunts. Whether you live in Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, or Wrightwood there’s an egg-citing event waiting for you.
Building Community Spirit
Egg hunts are a fantastic way to foster a sense of community spirit. You’ll see families coming together, children making new friends, and neighbors catching up while cheering on their little ones. It’s a heart-warming reminder of the strong bonds that tie us together.
Supporting Local Businesses
Many Easter egg hunts are hosted by local businesses and organizations. Participating in these events shows your support for them and helps keep our local economy thriving.
Hopping into Spring with Gratitude
As we celebrate Easter, let’s remember the spirit of this holiday: hope, renewal, and the joy of new beginnings. Let’s take this opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the High Desert in spring, the resilience of our communities, and the blessings we share. So, dust off your Easter baskets, gather your family and friends, and get ready for some egg-cellent fun!
Wishing you and your loved ones a joyous and blessed Easter!
