fatherhood

San Bernardino County Children’s Network and the Inland Empire Father Involvement Coalition will host their annual Fatherhood Summit throughout the month of June, featuring keynote speakers and workshops addressing the needs of fathers and their families.

According to the Child and Family Partnership, “Fathers who are engaged and present make a real difference in their children’s lives. Children who are raised by involved fathers are 60% less likely to be suspended or expelled from school, two times as likely to go to college and find stable employment after high school, 75% less likely to have a teen birth, and 80% less likely to spend time in jail.”
