Pirate Cove

Located in Needles, along the banks of the Colorado River, San Bernardino County’s Moabi Regional Park offers a mix of camping, dining, fishing and water sports for the entire family. The Park is operated by concessionaire Pirates Cove Resort, and offers full RV hookups for $70 nightly, and tent camping for $20 nightly. Day fees are $15 per vehicle.

If you don’t have an RV or tent, the resort has a variety of luxury 2-bedroom beachfront cabins that are open year-round to the public. Each cabin sleeps six and also includes a washer, dryer, Direct TV and WIFI. Trailer rentals are also available.

Pirate’s Cove Restaurant is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily, serving up a “pub grub” menu of burgers, wraps, salads and sandwiches. Their 64 oz. cocktail buckets, with names like “Walk the Plank,” “Bermuda Triangle” and “Rippin Rooster,” are a specialty.

Activities abound at the resort, from private tropical yacht charters to Polaris off road rentals, water sports rentals and a water playground for the kids.

Pirate Cove Resort is located at 100 Park Moabi Road in Needles. For more information, please call (866) 301-3000 or email reservations@piratecoveresort.com
