San Bernardino County’s Department of Public Works will continue its resurfacing project on Trona Road through Friday, Oct. 1.
Work is taking place between Searles Station Cutoff and Highway 395 in the Red Mountain/Searles area. This section of Trona Road is closed during the duration of the project and detours are available, shown in the map above.
The project will help extend the life of the road and improve the surface. Once the paving operations are completed, new pavement markings will be installed.
