I’d like to congratulate Deputy Kenneth Sutton of San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Colorado River Station on receiving the Sheriff’s Lifesaving Award.
Deputy Sutton, who is based out of Needles, received the award for providing medical aid to a man during a call on July 21, 2020.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, “When Sutton arrived, he found the man on the floor of his motel room, unresponsive and without a pulse. He immediately began CPR, and after about a minute he began to have a pulse but was still unresponsive. The Fire Department arrived shortly after and transported the man to the hospital.”
