A four-year effort to address blighted and hazardous structures in Trona has concluded with significant visible improvements in the community.

Led by San Bernardino County Code Enforcement, and with vital support from our First District and the Board of Supervisors, this initiative brought real change.

During the last fiscal year, Code Enforcement Officers Angie Sanchez and Christina Castlebury spearheaded the removal of 11 unsafe structures, including 8 demolitions, making Trona safer and more livable. This incredible work, costing $245,303, also saw $77,348 in savings thanks to voluntary abatements.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community shows just how much of a difference this project has made!
