Red Barn Opry

Wrightwood’s beloved Red Barn Opry is making a surprise comeback. Despite announcing its end last year, the annual bluegrass and country music festival will return on at 5 p.m. Saturday, August 31.

Founder David Cimino previously faced challenges in sustaining the event due to rising costs but was moved to revive it following the tragic loss of community members Daniel and Jackie Meredith. This year’s Opry will be a “Celebration of Love,” honoring their memory and providing a space for those grieving to come together.

Get ready for a night of fantastic music and heartfelt camaraderie featuring performances by The Matsens, Blue Eyed Coyote, Honey Buckets, The High D Boys, and Winslow.

Join the celebration at 1336 Edna St. in Wrightwood and bring your own chairs. Admission is free, so don’t miss this special event!
