San Bernardino County has received $8 million in the 2023-24 state budget, and some of this funding will go toward refurbishing our Victorville behavioral health treatment center.
The funding for the behavioral health center was made possible by State Sen. Scott Wilk (R-Santa Clarita). It will be used to install new commercial-grade appliances, cabinets and furniture, small storage units, and other improvements to the facility.
Additional funding requested through State Sen. Steve Padilla (D-San Diego) will go toward obtaining two mobile health clinics for permanent use in our Eastern desert communities of Needles and Havasu Lake.
