Families across the First District have plenty of opportunities to celebrate Easter weekend with festive, family-friendly events taking place on Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5.

On Saturday, the Phelan/Pinon Hills Community Services District, in partnership with the Phelan Chamber of Commerce and Snowline Joint Unified School District, will host an Easter Egg Hunt at Serrano High School’s football field. Children’s games begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the egg hunt at 10 a.m. for ages 2–10. Families are encouraged to bring baskets and enjoy games, prizes, and Easter gift basket raffles.

Also on Saturday, the City of Victorville will hold its Spring Festival & Egg Hunt from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hook Park. The event features egg hunts by age group, a Kids Zone, vendors, food, carnival games, and a special appearance by Peter Rabbit. Pre-registration is required for egg hunts at $5 per child. In Hesperia, the Recreation & Park District’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hesperia Community Park, 10200 Datura Road. The event includes bounce houses, food trucks, vendors, and free photos with the Easter Bunny. Apple Valley will host multiple events on Saturday, including the Bunny Run at James A. Woody Park (Field #8), with check-in at 7 a.m. and the race starting at 8 a.m. Registration information is available at avrecreation.org. Later that morning, the Town’s annual Eggstravaganza will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at James A. Woody Park, featuring egg hunts by age group, games, and activities. Silver Lakes Recreation invites their community to enjoy Photos with the Easter Bunny on Saturday at Parmelee Field, located at 27256 Peach Tree Lane. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., and attendees will receive a 4×6 photo with an Easter-themed frame for $10 for two. On Sunday, San Bernardino County Regional Parks will host Easter Scavenger Hunts at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Cucamonga-Guasti, Glen Helen, Mojave Narrows, Prado, and Yucaipa Regional Parks. Participants will solve clues to “Crack the Bunny Code,” with prizes for the first 140 participants per session. Admission is $20, and additional details are available at parks.sbcounty.gov.

Also on Sunday, Calico Ghost Town in Yermo (36600 Ghost Town Road) will offer a full day of old-fashioned Easter fun from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including egg hunts, live entertainment, games, a petting zoo, and more. Finally, in Wrightwood, the Timberline Lions and Wrightwood Property Owners Association will host their annual Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the CSD Community Center (1275 Highway 2), with photos with the Easter Bunny from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. The Easter Egg Hunt will follow at Wrightwood Elementary School starting at 10 a.m., with staggered times by age group.
