San Bernardino County invites the community to the 2025 Development Services Open House from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at the Apple Valley Conference Center. This event offers residents the opportunity to explore the diverse services provided by key County departments that help shape, protect, and enhance our communities. Attendees will have the chance to meet with experts from the Land Use Services Department, who can guide residents through building permits, inspections, zoning, community development, code enforcement, drainage, and road improvements.
Representatives from Public Works will share information on transportation projects, flood protection, solid waste, and other municipal services, while the Office of the Fire Marshal will highlight efforts to ensure public safety through fire prevention, education, and enforcement of fire codes. Environmental Health staff will provide insights into food safety, water quality, and hazardous waste management, and the Assessor’s Office will explain how property values are determined and assist with tax-related questions. New updates on manufactured housing and AB98 will also be shared.
Registration is encouraged but not required. The Conference Center is located at 14975 Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley. For more details, call (909) 387-8311.
