I was pleased to meet with Congressman David Rouzer (R–North Carolina), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Highways and Transit, on Tuesday ahead of his tour of key infrastructure sites in San Bernardino County.
Congressman Rouzer is visiting to gain a deeper understanding of the transportation and emergency response needs of inland communities that play a critical role in goods movement, public safety, and regional mobility. Among the projects highlighted during his visit were improvements to Summit Valley Road, Phelan Road, and National Trails Highway, as well as areas impacted by recent wildfire burn scars.
