Our office was pleased to sponsor this year’s “It’s a Gas to Go to Class” event held at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds. Organized by Victorville Motors, this initiative recognizes students with perfect attendance.
Sixteen local schools and 25,000 students participated. Of those, over 1,800 students qualified for the drawing to win a vehicle (and other prizes).
Vincent Gonzalez, a senior at Silverado High School, won a white Jeep Compass, and Melea Romo, a freshman at Cobalt Institute of Math & Science, was awarded a blue Jeep Compass.
This wonderful event highlights the dedication and academic commitment of so many students in our community!
