On Wednesday, our team members Kimberly Mesen, Christopher Porter, Samuel Shoup, Tami Godfrey and Veronica Hill were honored to provide lunch for 600 first responders at Wrightwood Elementary School.
These hard-working heroes were treated to an assortment of Costco pizza, deli sandwiches, fruit and a variety of tasty snacks.
We’re so incredibly grateful for the tireless work crews have been doing around the clock to protect the village. It was a small gesture of our appreciation for their dedication and sacrifice!
We’d also like to thank all of the agencies who have been working so hard to restore normalcy to Wrightwood following the lifting of the Bridge Fire evacuation order. From removing torched utility poles and falling burned trees to restoring trash and mail service, their efforts are invaluable.
Please remember that Wrightwood remains under an evacuation warning. A strong law enforcement presence will continue in the community, and looters will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
We ask for your patience and understanding as crews work to make the town safe and habitable again.
