During Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, we were pleased to approve a $113,235 contract to purchase a refrigerated food truck for New Leaf Ministries’ Food Bank program.
The church’s free Food & Clothing Ministry is open to all High Desert residents. Food is given out on a first-come, first-served basis on Mondays at 10 a.m. and Fridays at 1:30 p.m.
The monthly Clothes Drive is held from 8 a.m.-10 a.m. on the second Saturday of each month.
