This annual gathering provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow chamber members and celebrate the organization’s accomplishments. We thank outgoing Chair Dr. Lisa Lamb for her dedicated leadership, and we’re excited to welcome Shannon Shannon as the incoming Chair.
It was impressive to learn that the Chamber’s membership has grown to nearly 700 businesses, with a remarkable 62% of them with fewer than 9 employees. This highlights the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the backbone of our community – independent small businesses.
We’re particularly enthusiastic about the Chamber’s launch of a new speaker series and its inaugural High Desert Young Business League. These initiatives hold immense potential for our community.
The speaker series promises valuable insights for established businesses, while the Young Business League will be instrumental in equipping High Desert youth with essential skills for entrepreneurship, leadership, and business management.
