In a swift crackdown on illegal sideshows, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies from various stations and specialized units converged on an abandoned property in Adelanto last weekend, where a car club gathering had turned into dangerous stunts.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 56 participants, both adults and juveniles. Adults faced citations and release after processing, while juveniles were released to their families with citations. Additionally, law enforcement towed 23 vehicles and recovered a stolen Chevrolet Camaro and several guns.
Sheriff Dicus sent a clear message that reckless sideshows will not be tolerated in the county. Further instances will lead to more arrests and vehicle impoundments.
