Beginning May 1, residents in unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County and the City of Big Bear Lake can receive additional financial support through the Pet Over Population Coalition (POPCO) for spay and neuter services!
San Bernardino County Animal Care will also be allocating funding for vouchers for spaying and neutering unowned community cats. To request a voucher of $100 for cats and $200 for dogs, call POPCO at (888) 767-2550 or email at info@popco-inc.org.
Additionally, the Devore and Big Bear Animal shelters are hosting a week-long adoption event at $10 for cats and $20 for dogs. All pets come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and receive most vaccines! The special runs through May 5. Get more information.
