Thank you to our San Bernardino County Sheriff’s gang teams, who recovered more than 1,500 pounds of methamphetamine and over 500 firearms during 2021. Of those 500 firearms, 150 were ghost guns. These ghost guns, along with high-capacity magazines and ammunition, were recovered from convicted felons and documented criminal street gang members.
During the first two weeks of 2022, our gang teams have retrieved more than 100 pounds of methamphetamine and several ghost guns.
