Mountain Desert Career Pathways is teaming up with Riverside Unified School District and industry partners STEP Board & Bourns, Inc., to bring summer STEM learning labs to the High Desert between July 11-29.
The labs are career-focused STEM weeks in law enforcement, public utilities, advanced manufacturing, and STEM solutions related to critical local/regional issues. Students will work in teams of five, and there is no cost to participants. Winning teams will receive $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place.
