High Desert Second Chance is still accepting applications from families for its 6th annual “Bless a Family” Christmas event.
In order to be eligible for the event, families must bring a state-issued ID, one proof of address per adult (bill, bank statement, rental agreement or insurance) and children must bring two forms of verification (birth certificate, shot records, social security card or medical cards).
Registration takes place in person from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays at High Desert Second Chance, located at 16666 Smoke Tree St., Building 4, in Hesperia. Deadline to register is Dec. 16, or until all the spaces are filled.
The event will take place from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 20. It is open to all residents living in the High Desert region.
