San Bernardino County Public Works/Special Districts is hosting a community cleanup day for Havasu Lake residents from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Oct. 16. The event will take place at the corner of Lake Boulevard and Havasu Lake Road. Residents can take advantage of free disposal of household trash, including yard waste (tree and shrub trimmings), garage items, large household items such as couches and tables, and small demolition materials. Unfortunately, items including refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, e-waste, hazardous waste and commercial/industrial waste cannot be accepted.
