LCAP

The High Desert Intersections Education Committee is inviting First District parents and caregivers to join their free Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) training program.

According to the California Department of Education, LCAP is a tool for school districts “to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes.” Among the measurables are student engagement, parent involvement, school climate, student outcomes, student achievement, course access, implementation of state standards and basic services.  Several dates of the training will be offered via Zoom, beginning in March.
