On Tuesday, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it would extend a postponement of evictions and foreclosures for Veterans with VA-backed home loans who are experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The current moratorium extensions were set to end March 31, but are now extended to June 30, 2021. The VA also announced that it is launching a series of virtual job fairs connecting Veteran doctors, nurses, police, engineers and other occupations with recruiters. The series will be hosted the fourth Wednesday of every month.
