The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. with a parade starting at the corner of 7th Street and Tracy\, proceeding to the corner of 7th Street and Forrest Avenue. This will be followed by a moving ceremony honoring local veterans. \nCommunity members are encouraged to participate in two ways. First\, applications for parade participants and nominations for veterans to be honored during the ceremony are now open.
