DESCRIPTION:High Desert Second Chance is partnering with Community Health Action Network and California Highway Patrol to provide a Child Car Seat Safety Class on Thursday\, Jan. 18. All participants will receive a new car seat for their child. \nThe child seat safety class is for qualifying children\, 12 months old or older\, for front-facing car seats. Only one child per parental household. Parent(s) must complete the workshop\, and demonstration with a certified onsite CHP technician and the child must be present to complete the demonstration. The event runs from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Doors close immediately at 11:05 a.m. \nRegister here.
